The Tour

Snorkelling at Agincourt Ribbon Reefs

Participants will explore the shallow reef lagoons and vibrant coral gardens. Experienced snorkellers can enjoy drop-offs and coral pinnacles, with expert briefings providing insights into the reef's biology and history.

Snorkelling at Escape Reef

Discover the diverse marine life and coral formations. Beginners receive guidance and tips, while more experienced snorkellers can explore deeper areas. Participants can also engage in a reef monitoring survey with a marine biologist.

The tour begins with vessel boarding at the Reef Marina in Port Douglas. Guests are taken to the first Agincourt Reef site, where they can snorkel and explore the coral gardens. The tour continues to a second and third site, offering varied experiences at each location. A buffet lunch with a selection of dishes is served on board, and afternoon tea is provided during the return journey. The vessel features a large air-conditioned main saloon, a spacious top sun deck, and a purpose-built rear deck for easy water access. The tour ensures a comfortable and uncrowded experience with a maximum of 84 passengers.

Meeting point

You can be picked up from your accommodation or central points across the area between 6:35am and 8:00am, depending on your location. The exact pickup point and time will be confirmed upon booking. Alternatively, make your own way to Crystalbrook Marina Port Douglas for an 8:30am departure. Please ensure you are at your pickup point a few minutes before the stated time.

Family pricing

Infants aged 3 years and under travel free. Children aged 4-14 years are half price, and in a family of 2 adults and 2 children, one child travels free.

They were incredibly friendly, funny, helpful, knowledgable, and fun to be around. The gear they give you is great, the spots they take you to are beautiful (not too much bleaching), and the food is tasty. I went on a day when the boat was at less than half capacity (only 30-something passengers) so it made for easy communication between crew and passengers along with short food and drink lines. I definitely recommend the Poseidon Cruise.
