At times these vessels may not operate, and backup vessels without wheelchair-accessible facilities may be used. This is often not confirmed until approximately 24 hours before departure. Guests are advised to contact the office 24 hours prior to travel to verify vessel details.

Toilets Both Quicksilver VIII and Quicksilver V feature an oversized toilet cubicle suitable for most wheelchair users. This cubicle is marked “CREW ONLY” to limit general access. The doorway width on Quicksilver VIII is 78 cm, while the doorway on Quicksilver V measures 97 cm.

Platform and Facilities A chair lift is available on the Agincourt 3 floating platform, allowing passengers with disabilities to be lowered into the water for snorkelling.

At the Outer Barrier Reef, ramp access is provided from the vessel to the floating platform. However, access to the underwater observatory, swim platforms, and semi‑submersible coral‑viewing vessels is via stairs only.

Wharf Facilities The Port Douglas wharf is equipped with boarding ramps suitable for wheelchair access.
