The tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation in Cairns. You'll receive a Kuranda Boarding Pass, which includes your itinerary and tickets.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway

Begin your adventure with the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, gliding over the rainforest canopy. The journey includes two stops, allowing you to step off and explore the rainforest up close.

Kuranda Village

Upon arrival in Kuranda, enjoy free time to explore the village. Visit the Heritage Markets, sample local cuisine at cafes and restaurants, and explore attractions like the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and Birdworld.

Kuranda Scenic Rail Gold Class

Board the Kuranda Scenic Rail for a relaxing journey back. The Gold Class service offers individual seating, lounge-style chairs, and a dedicated host. Enjoy refreshments as you travel through Barron Gorge, with the carriage featuring historical décor. A gift pack and a souvenir trip guide are provided, and an optional tour of the Heritage-Listed Signal Cabin at Kuranda station is available.

Return to Cairns Hotel

The train journey concludes at Freshwater Connection Station, where a hostess will organize your return transfer to your hotel in Cairns.

• 09:45 Skyrail - 3:30 Train from $286 Ideal for early risers, this option includes a morning Skyrail journey and an afternoon train return. Enjoy the same Kuranda village exploration and Gold Class train experience.
• 11:00 Skyrail - 3:30 Train from $286 This option offers a mid-morning Skyrail departure, providing ample time to enjoy Kuranda village before the afternoon train back in Gold Class comfort.
• 12:45 Skyrail - 3:30 Train from $286 For those preferring a later start, the 12:45pm Skyrail allows for a leisurely morning. Experience Kuranda before returning on the afternoon Gold Class train.

Meeting point

09:45 Skyrail - 3:30 Train

You will be picked up from your accommodation or a central point in Cairns between 8:05am and 8:57am. Alternatively, you can make your own way to the Pacific Hotel Cairns, located at 43-47 Esplanade, Cairns City.

11:00 Skyrail - 3:30 Train

Pickups occur from accommodation or central points in Cairns between 9:45am and 10:57am. You may also choose to meet at the Pacific Hotel Cairns.

12:45 Skyrail - 3:30 Train

Pickup is available from accommodation or central points in Cairns between 11:35am and 12:40pm. Alternatively, head to the Pacific Hotel Cairns for the start of your tour.

For all options, please be at your pickup point a few minutes before the scheduled time.
