The tour begins with a pick-up from your Cairns accommodation, providing a convenient start to the day.

Kuranda Scenic Rail

Board the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail at Freshwater Station. The train journey offers scenic views of the rainforest, passing by waterfalls and through Barron Gorge on the way to Kuranda.

Kuranda Village

Once in Kuranda, explore the village at your leisure. The Kuranda Boarding Pass provides discounts at various attractions. Visitors can enjoy the Heritage Markets and have lunch at local cafes or restaurants.

Rainforestation Nature Park

A shuttle takes guests to Rainforestation Nature Park. Here, participate in the Army Duck Rainforest Tour, experience the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, and visit the Koala & Wildlife Park.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway

The return journey to Cairns includes a ride on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. This aerial experience offers views over the rainforest, with stops at two locations for further exploration.

Return to Cairns

The tour concludes with a drop-off at your original pick-up point in Cairns.

Kuranda & Rainforestation 9:50 Train

Pick-up is available from accommodation or central points across Cairns, Palm Cove, and Trinity Beach, with times ranging from 8:05am to 9:25am. The tour departs from Cairns at 9:25am. Alternatively, you can make your own way to the Pacific Hotel Cairns.

Kuranda & Rainforestation with Lunch 9:50 Train
